The home-buying process can be overwhelming, and, for the first-time home buyer, even intimidating. It is important to have a real estate agent who is knowledgeable, patient, and willing to explain each step (often over and over!). When I decided the time was right to buy my first home I spoke to a friend. He recommended his realtor who had helped he and his wife find the home of their dreams. Following up on that recommendation was one of my smartest moves ever. Steve is from this area and knows all the details that are important to a buyer, including shopping, schools, transportation and recreational options. He was available at all times, even keeping in touch when he had to be out of town for a few days. Emails and phone calls were answered quickly and completely. Most importantly, financial considerations were explained in detail. If and when I repeat the home buying process, Steve will be my first call and when any of my family or friends ask for a recommendation, I will definitely give them Steve’s name.
